About Mechanical Engineering Department

The department of mechanical engineering was established in the year 2019. It offers B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering. The current annual intake is 60. The department has dedicated faculty members with expertise in different sub-disciplines of mechanical engineering such as Thermal Science, Solid Mechanics, Production Technology, Industrial Engineering etc. It has well-equipped laboratories and a workshop to provide hands-on training to students in order to gain practical experiences which is very much required to enhance their knowledge of the subject. The facilities include the thermal engineering lab, fluid mechanics lab, strength of material lab, CAD/CAM lab, CNC lathe and Milling lab, different shops and other specialized labs related to the field of mechanical engineering. The students have ample opportunity to work on real-life projects, internships and they can carry out activities of research and innovation in the relevant fields.
